The air we breathe becomes the heat source for heating
IDM uses what is freely available: energy that does not need to be bought.
With the Terra CL, the air we breathe
becomes the energy supplier – no
matter how cold it gets in winter.
Fossil fuels are becoming a thing of the past. Today there are sophisticated
systems that save energy and
help the environment. Just like the
products in the IDM power family.
Hot water on demand
IDM heat pumps not only heat rooms, but also provide hygienic
fresh hot water in a matter of seconds – without any intermediate
storage at all, using IDM's HGL technology.
This technology can replace all the individual geysers spread over
the entire building. Only the actual amount of hot water required is
delivered. Bad news for microorganisms such as legionellae and
other bacteria. With hot gas charging technology (HGL), an instant
temperature of up to 60°C can be achieved.

The all-rounder
The Terra-CL has an application range matched by few other heat pumps: This all-rounder is suitable for renovation work and new buildings and can be installed indoors and outdoors.
Economical
The Terra-CL is an air source heat pump system, with heating capacities ranging from 8 kW to 33 kW. 1 kWh of electricity becomes up to 3.6 kWh of heat.
Moreover, fresh service water is hygienically and quickly heated on demand and in summer you keep cool with the built in reversed process.
Versatility & Flexibility
The Terra-CL can be used flexibly. It can be installed inside and
outside, it can be used for renovation work and new buildings,
on its own or in conjunction with other heating systems, such
as solar, gas, oil, or wood.
It always adapts to your home and your needs.

During an entire year the required heat output varies significantly.
The TERRA ML modulating air heat pumps take this into consideration,
decreasing the speed of the compressor during warmer seasons and
increasing the speed in winter, thus saving additional energy.
Terra ML 6 BA
•
2 to 8 kW heating capacity
•
Maintains hot water temperature of 55°C
•
Natural & clean
•
Extreme savings
Indoor unit with
300L tank
Outdoor unit with compressor
The outdoor unit contains all the relevant cold circuit components up to
the condenser, such as the frequency controlled rotary compressor, the
finned evaporator with quiet running axial ventilator and the electronic
expansion valve.
The indoor unit contains a generously dimensioned
copper brazed stainless steel plate as condenser, from which a heating
circuit can be directly supplied as needed or the heated water diverted to
the hot water system.
The pumps for loading the hot water tank or to supply the heating circuit
are included. The tank is equipped with a sufficient storage capacity of
about 300 litres. Additionally, the indoor unit contains a 25 litre hot water
station to guarantee hygienic hot water preparation. At exterior temperatures
outside the application range, the built in 6 kW electric heating element
works as a backup and maintains hot water temperatures of 55°C.
This type of construction guarantees a practically noiseless interior unit.
Terra ML 12 HGL
•
3 to 17 kW heating capacity
•
Maintains hot water temperature of 55°C
•

Indoor unit
The outdoor unit contains all the relevant cold circuit components up to
the condenser, such as the frequency controlled scroll compressor, the finned evaporator, the quietly running axial ventilator and the electronic expansion valve.
The indoor unit contains a generously dimensioned copper brazed stainless
steel plate heat exchanger as condenser, the hot gas plate exchanger
for the HGL technology, the HGL control valve, a 6 kW heating element as a
backup device and the loading pump.
The Terra ML 12 HGL heat pump has to be combined with an additional Hygienik buffer tank (up to 1500 litres per tank) to store the produced heat. Alternatively solar thermal panels can be combined with the ML 12 unit, rendering the entire system even more efficient.
This type of construction guarantees a practically noiseless inside unit.
