Conventional solar geysers can only heat efficiently during the day
and if the sun is shining. At night or on a cloudy day an electrical backup
element will kick in, thus not saving you any heating costs.

The STC geyser range uses solar radiation, when ever possible and switches
to an environmentally friendly heat pump at night, always ensuring the most
effective and inexpensive way of hot water heating. Additionally the sanitary
water can be heated by an electric heater as a backup solution.
